Join us for this one-day in-person workshop!
Nationally recognized artist Wyn Ericson will focus on portrait watercolor painting and help you develop your own skills. Participants will paint from reference images suppied by Wyn.
Wyn will explain his process step-by-step and provide insightful tips and advice. He will give demonstrations and instructions on how to plan your painting, balance value and color, simplify complex detail, and create a work of art you would be proud to show your friends!
About Wyn Ericson
Wyn Ericson is an award-winning watercolor artist based in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated in 2003 from California State University Fullerton where he majored in Art emphasizing drawing and painting.
After 15 years of teaching art, Wyn became a full-time artist in 2019 focusing on florals, landscapes, and portraits. Most recently, Wyn won the 1st prize International Watercolour Master 2024 contest, was nominated for the people's choice award in Plein Air Magazine and won 1st place at the Louisville Urban Plein Air contest.
