2023 Annual Watercolor Art Show

Don't miss our Annual Watercolor Show!

It will be a diverse show of artwork by GCWS members, celebrating and focusing on watercolor as a medium. The show will showcase over 60 pieces of art that tell a story, express a mood, or capture a memory.

The Opening Reception will take place on Sunday, July 16, 2023, 1 – 4 pm, at “The Barn” (the Woman’s Art Club and Cultural Center) at 6980 Cambridge Avenue in Mariemont, Ohio.  Libations and light bites provided by member volunteers will be served. 

The show will be on display at the Barn from Friday, July 14, 2023, to Sunday, July 23, 2023.  Hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday, 10 am – 2 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 1 pm – 4 pm.

The show judge will be Craig Lloyd. Craig Lloyd received a MFA in painting from the University of Cincinnati and a BFA in painting from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. A recipient of an Aid to Individual Artists Grant from the Summerfair Foundation and a City of Cincinnati Individual Artist’s Grant, he has shown both regionally and nationally in more than 170 group and solo exhibitions. He was awarded the Mount St. Joseph University Distinguished Scholar Award in 2017.
