Barn Hours
Tues-Fri, 10 am – 2 pm Sat and Sun, 1 – 5 pm closed Mondays
Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony
Sunday, August 10, 2025, 1 pm - 4 pm
Cash prizes for the top three winners plus honorable mentions will be awarded!
Requirements to Enter
- You must be a GCWS member.
- Pay dues online conveniently by credit card: $50
- Or, pay by check. Mail a completed Member Sign-up Form and $50 check payable to "GCWS" to Starr Shebesta, GCWS Treasurer, at 6249 Stewart Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45227.
- Water-based paintings only
- Paintings must be an original work by the artist. “Original” means the painting is the artist’s own idea, composition, design, and painted by hand.
- Artwork previously exhibited in a GCWS show is not eligible for awards.
- All paintings must be framed and have a wire on back for hanging
- Any paintings sold during the show require the artist to send a 20% commission payable to the WACC Foundation.
Registration
- Log into your GCWS member account at Member Sign-in. Use the login credentials you were given.
- Enter by 7/31/25 to save: $30 for 1 painting; $35 for 2 paintings, $40 for 3 paintings.
- After 7/31/25, entry fees increase by $5
- No entries accepted after 8/7/25.
Show Judge
Paul Kroner is a visual artist and designer living in Cincinnati, Ohio. His art includes representative and non-representative works in oils, acrylics, bronze, and other media. He is the owner and gallerist of Studio Kroner in Cincinnati, OH, which features local, regional, and national artists. Paul is a winner of the 2023 Cincinnati Summerfair Aid to Individual Artist Grant, winner of the Sculpture category in the Zanesville Museum of Art 78th Ohio Annual Exhibition, 2nd Place Winner in the 2024 Ohio Art League Spring Exhibit, and 3rd Place in the 56th Annual Cincinnati Art Club View ViewPoint nationally juried exhibition.
